Murilo Bastos da Cunha

He is a professor in the Information Science and Documentation Department at the University of Brasilia. He is Master of Arts in Library Administration at the Federal University of Minas Gerais and PhD at the University of Michigan (USA). He was president of the Association of Librarians of the Federal District and chairman of the Federal Council of Library. Among the activities undertaken at the University of Brasilia are the director of the School of Applied Social Studies, Head of Information Science and Documentation Department and Director of the Central Library.

He has experience in Information Science, with emphasis on Dissemination of Information Processes, working with the following topics: scientific and technological information, digital library, users study, college library and information technology.
